Title:: Demons
Artist:: Imagine Dragons
Text type: Song

I really like this song because it is really relatable and has a deep meaning to it. This song has really good lyrics and rhythm. This song was released on 4th of September 2012. Demons by imagine dragons was one of the 11 songs of the album ‘Night Visions’. I think this song is about everyone having a dark side.

I wanna hide the truth
I wanna shelter you
But with the beast inside
There’s nowhere we can hide
The lyrics made me realise that we all have dark side and that we don’t want other to see it. I personally think that everyone has a secret that they don’t want others to know about. Even I myself relate to this. We try to bury our secrets, but we can’t do so. Perhaps, we should not hide it and just move on. But I think that will be hard for most people. For me, it is hard to show my ‘dark side’ for I think that everyone will judge me. I think this relates to most teenagers because most teenagers are trying to please other people by hiding their ‘dark side’. Unfortunately, our ‘dark side cannot be hidden forever, it will always come out weather we like it or not.
When the days are cold
And the cards all fold
And the saints we see
Are all made of gold
This part of the song makes me think about when we are down, sad or if something doesn’t go the way we want it to, we just fold or in other words give up. This is really relatable because some people always seems to give up when things doesn’t work out the way we want it. We all know that folding is one of the smartest move in a game, because sometimes it’s what you have to do to prevent further losses. So folding isn’t so bad after all . ‘And the saints we see, Are all made of gold’. I think this means that some of us are materialistic. I myself admit that sometimes I am being materialistic too because I sometimes think that buying things makes me happy.
No matter what we breed
We still are made of greed
This is my kingdom come
This is my kingdom come
This made me aware of the fact that most people try to be good to other but our darkness always comes out. We try to be nice to other people but we sometime have bad intentions. We do things that would benefit us more than other people. I can say that I am also guilty about that. This is what I thought about when I heard ‘No matter what we breed, We still are made of greed’.
Don't wanna let you down
But I am hell bound
Though this is all for you
Don't wanna hide the truth
Most of us wants to help other. It’s given. But even when we try to be helpful to others and be a good person, we cannot control ourselves and still fail to do so. We always reveal our ‘dark side’. This means that no matter how hard we try to control ourselves and be a good person, we still fail to manage ourselves.

Title: Meet Facebook’s Mr.Nice
Author: Nick Bilton
Text type: Artice
Date: 31/3/17

Summary
This article is about Arturo Bejar which may have the most difficult job on Facebook’s employees. He is not responsible for increasing advertising revenue or keeping the website alive 24 hours a day. Mr. Bejar has a much more inscrutable task: teaching the site’s 1.3 billion users, especially its tens of millions of teenagers, how to be nice and respectful to one another.

When Facebook offered more developed responses like “This post is mean. It makes me feel sad and I don’t want it on Facebook,” 85 percent of teenagers who wanted a post removed sent a message.” I can relate to the ‘85 percent’ of teenagers a lot because it gives us more options. This makes reporting posts easier and faster. Having “it’s embarrassing” as an options when reporting a post makes it a lot straightforward. Even after they have put emotions like quoted, there are still a lot of other emotions us teenagers may feel towards the posts put up on facebook. Maybe Mr.Bejar can add more specific emotions. I personally think that having blank boxes available will also be helpful due to that the report will be more specific. Having more options makes its better for some people as Dr. Marc Brackett - director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence - said “teenagers need more pathways and options to voice their feelings.”

I think having Mr.Bejar and his team is really helping lots of people. For Instance, they are making it uncomplicated for Facebook users to report a post they do not want in the platform. By their work, not only they help making people report post effortless but it also makes the person know that they’re hurting other people. “Mr. Bejar said, his team is experimenting with sounds to help people convey how they feel.” This again help facebook be a more friendly website for all ages
